Who are we?
Rise Taekwon-Do is a martial arts school teaching ITF-style Taekwon-Do in north London. We teach weekly lessons open to students of all abilities, and any age 8 or above.
Our club was founded in 2024 by our instructor, Daniel Beard (3rd degree), a 15-year veteran of Taekwon-Do under Grand Master Nardizzi (9th degree).
Rise Taekwon-Do is a proud member of GM Nardizzi's association, Taekwon-Do Impact, and through it, is licensed by the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF).
Interested in Joining?
Martial arts can appear daunting from the outside, but you needn't be apprehensive! We strive to offer an inclusive and supportive training environment, where people of all abilities and ages can train well and enjoy doing so. Whether you have prior experience or not, all are welcome!
We offer each prospective student one free trial, so there's nothing to lose by giving it a shot. Why not try it out?
Schools and Classes
We currently operate one Taekwon-Do school in Finchley, with more to come in future.
At Rise Taekwon-Do, we run two kinds of classes, to make sure we cater to everyone. Family classes are open to anyone aged 8 or over, and provide a training experience suitable for younger students and family groups. Meanwhile, advanced classes only accept those aged 13 or more, and feature more challenging training.
